EDR is only a few blocks away from the DMV in Costa Mesa.
Just schedule your driving test there and contact us.
Come in to EDR 1 hour before your test to sign the paperwork.
You can also practice the ‘circle & cones test’ in our parking lot.
We will drive the Honda Rebel to the DMV for you.
(since you can’t drive it yourself on the streets with a permit)

ps. Please note that your name needs to be on the motorcycle insurance if you plan to bring your friend’s motorcycle to the DMV test. If your name is not on the insurance they won’t let you take the test!

Extreme Dream Rider is open EVERY DAY of the week from 8.30am til 6pm.
We are closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
We are located at 1880 Newport Blvd in Costa Mesa, right at the end of the 55 freeway.
(where it turns into Newport Blvd, between 19th St and 18th St)

We are next door to the Borders bookstore on the corner of Newport Blvd and 19th street, with the red awning. (BUSY BODY was in this building before we moved in)
DIRECTIONS:
Coming from Irvine/Anaheim/Long Beach/Los Angeles/Riverside/San Diego:
Take the 55 freeway south, all the way till it ends. Go straight at the 1st traffic light (19th St.) You will see EDR on the left hand side.
Keep in the left lane and then make a U-turn at the traffic light on Broadway.
(There is a sushi place on the right and Direct Carpet is on the left side)
Once you’ve made the U-turn we are on the right hand side, on the corner of Flower St and Newport Blvd.
You can park on Flower St for free up to 72 hours. The entrance of EDR is also on Flower St.

Coming from Newport Beach/Huntington Beach/Laguna Beach:
When driving on Pacific Coast Highway take Newport Blvd north towards the 55 freeway. After you pass 18th St make a right into the 2nd street, which is Flower St.
You can park on Flower St. The entrance of EDR is also on Flower St.

PARKING:
You can park for free on Flower St up to 72 hours (3 days).
If you rent a motorcycle for longer then 3 days you can park in our parking lot at no extra charge.

Airport pickup

If needed we can pick you up at John Wayne/Orange County airport (SNA).
EDR is only 10 minutes (5 miles/8 kilometer) away from John Wayne airport.
Please get in touch with us to discuss further details.
We don’t pickup from LAX airport, Long Beach airport, Ontario aiport or San Diego airport, but we can advise you what the best way is to get to Orange County.
