Cook’s Corner ride with Friends

April 30, 2008

rutter3size.jpg rutter1size.jpg rutter2cooks-size.jpg
Hi Russ,Thanks again for your great service. The bike ran like a dream and we had a ball. We cruised PCH through Laguna, over to Cook’s Corner, up around Rancho Santa Margarita and then just enjoying riding around town. Cook’s was as busy as I’ve ever seen it for a cool day, but the food and company were still great. We’ll check out Elfin Road to plan a ride to it later,Thanks again,

Jim and Michele

Hi Jim,Thanks for the great pictures. I am glad you all had a good time on the Harley-Davidson Dyna Street Bob. I love the first picture of your friend. She looks like she is ready to tear it up on the Harley.Russ

Jim, cute kids!
These new Harley riders are looking younger every day. Looks like they need some peg extensions.

Detlev Passes DMV test on Harley

April 16, 2008

muehl-1200.jpg

Thanks Russ, It was a great day - see you soon.

Detlev

Detlev,

Congratulations on passing the DMV driving test! This is a difficult test and takes considerable skill to pass on a Harley even on the Sportster 1200. It must have also been challenging to adjust from the BMW motorcycle you were used to riding in Germany to the Harley. I am also happy to hear you were able to spend some time riding along Pacific Coast Highway after the test to enjoy the great weather.

I look forward to seeing you again.

Hello Russ
I had a good time. The canyons you told me were very pleasant and after that I went to big bear lake but the weather was not so good there. This bike is quit pleasant to ride and maybe next month I will do it again with a friend. I will keep you advised by email. Thank you and see you next time .
Pascal

Pascal, it was a pleasure meeting you! I am glad you enjoyed riding the Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200 Custom motocycle through Santiago, Trabuco and Ortega canyons. Let me know next time you will be traveling from France to Southern California and I will reserve another Harley for you. More detail on the canyon ride can be found on the Canyon Ride page

Hey Russ,We had a blast and your service was fantastic!…We had so much fun on the bikes that we never took any photos along the ride…
Have a great one!

Colin

Hi Colin,

Thanks for renting two of the Harley-Davidson motorcycles (Fat Boy and Heritage Softail Classic) for you and Aaron. I am glad you enjoyed your ride through Elfin Forest and Lake Hodge. Check out our page with more detailed directions and a map the Forest ride Read More…

Aaron and Colin were on vacation from Vancouver, Canada. We delivered the bikes to the Montage Resort for this ride. The Montage is located in south Laguna Beach (Orange County) right on the ocean as you can see from the picture taken at the Resort. This is one of Southern California’s amazing 5-star resorts.

Harley-Davidson Fat Boy upgraded to Stage 1

April 2, 2008

Our Harley-Davidson Fat Boy motorcycle has been upgraded with a stage 1 kit. This included the addition of Screaming Eagle mufflers and K&N high flow air filter. The ignition was remapped by Harley-Davidson of Westminster to take advantage of the increased air flow. These modifications increased the horsepower by about 10%. But the the best thing about the change is the bike sounds awesome. It is not so loud to be irritating but adds a deep rumble that was missing from the stock pipes.
